How I got interested in fair and sustainable living

It's funny how TheFairPages has made me become more conscious about many details in my life. In a way I feel I was recreated with TheFairPages. Thank you for this gift!

How I practice sustainable living in my daily life

I try in my everyday life to be innovative and think about how I can consume more pure and wisely. I try to buy as much organic, Fair Trade and eco-friendly products as I can.

I always search for new certificates and look for new products made by the hearts of people who truly want to see a better world.

It puts me in a fantastic mood to go to e.g. Wholefoods in the US or just to my little favorite organic shops in Denmark....not to buy but just to feel the energy of "GOOD", the energy of people behind that work for making people aware of how they consume.

What I think companies and consumers can do to be more fair and sustainable

Companies: I think the first thing companies should do when they start up is to ask themselves if they truly make a difference that benefits the whole, both now and in the long term. In general I think the most important thing is to begin asking questions every day about how you can improve what you do with your life and in your business. Are you unfolding your whole potential to develop the most beautiful world?

Think about what you can give instead of what you can take! I believe entrepreneurship and business in this decade will not be about making the first million ($), but saving the first million (people)

How I envision the future - what a fair new world could look like

If there were no poor people in the world, there would be no rich people... think about it! If we were all rich nobody would be rich...

And what does that mean? If the goal is to create fairness for all, which is to say that all should be able to get the same chances and opportunities... would that also mean that it would be impossible to let our economy build on the same principles that it is built on today?

It is hard to imagine how a future like that could look, but I think we are heading towards a future with a totally different economy and trade system than we have ever seen before. A system building upon how much good you do for the whole, and which will only let you get awarded if you do so.

Building up that new system, I believe, will be our greatest challenge ever faced as humankind, because we have to build a bridge to this new world from the images of our hearts and the trust in our intuition. And as if that was not difficult enough, we will also have to build this bridge while walking it, and at the same time close the path to the past behind us.

When we first start walking this new path, I think we will begin to face the fact that unless we ALL get on board and unless we ALL give everything we have, literally, in terms of different skills, ideas, collaboration and free working-power, to unfold this new future, there is a big chance we may not make it.

But hey! How hard can it be? Let's start holding each other's hands while walking. Grab your neighbor’s hand and he will grab his neighbor’s. It' going to be beautiful, fun and mind-blowing - let's get ready for a fresh start on a bright future!

The greatest gift is to give!...
